every story has a beginning.

How it all started...

Wellspring really began as an experiment.
We met in our local Quality Inn Conference room for months.
We wrestled with what God wanted Wellspring to become.
We didn't want to just be another church in town, rather we wanted to become a neighborhood where everyone knew they were welcome.

So many have been burned out by a church or burned by a church.

We started to ask ourselves questions:
How do we help them get back to seeing the church for what Jesus meant for it to be?
How do we live out that the church is not a place but rather a group of people who have Jesus in common?
How do we change the perception of church to those who don't yet know Jesus?

It was in the search of these answers that we believe God revealed something deep and simple.

DEEP AND SIMPLE

The two greatest commands given in the Bible are repeated in both the old and new testaments.
1. Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, soul and mind.
2. Love your neighbor like you love yourself.

To put it simple, because it was always supposed to be simple. Love God and love people.

Where we are headed...

We want to continue to follow Jesus into the spaces we live, work, play and worship. We want to help you grow in being the church wherever God has you.

No one has to clean themselves up first. Wellspring is a place that sinners gather realizing God's grace is always greater than our sin. When some are struggling others are there to encourage. Those rolls reverse often because we all need help at different times. None of us have "arrived". We all need Jesus.

We want you to come to enjoy Jesus so much in your life that you can't help but for others to know this by how you live. That it just becomes a natural part of who you are. Can't imagine enjoying Jesus like that? No worries, we are all growing in this too. Come check it out.

Everyone is welcome in the neighborhood. Come be a part of our story.

Be a part of our story...
